Happy Christmas

Here is a Christmas Tree I created to get us into the spirit of the occasion.

We leave for Wellington on 20th Dec until 6th Jan and I can't wait to have a kiwi Christmas and meet my new nephew and catch up with friends.

Ian's sporting and intellectual prowess

Ian participated in the Masters Games in November - his cricket team were all teachers/ ex teachers - despite that obvious disability they still managed a bronze medal!

He also got to dress up again for his birthday and to represent his department at the first Tafe graduation.

November activities

Sophie and Sam tied the knot at Sophie's parents place - it was a beautiful ceremony and celebration! We had a very subdued 'hens night' - Sunday afternoon tea at Saldechin.

Going crazy with origami!

We had been invited to lunch at Jeff and Libby's to celebrate Tony's return from Japan. He bought his girlfriend to Australia - Yoshiko (girl in kimono!). After a magical lunch - marinated sardines, capperonata, a whole snapper stuffed with prawns and a blood orange bavarois
for dessert - we were ready for Yoshiko's origami lessons. Project 1 was a crane, project 2 was a box and for the more advanced students - a project involving 2 different pieces of paper folded together to make our very own 'war weapon'.!! It was a very funny afternoon.

Team Elliott and Jaggard on another walk on Arkaba Station.

Attempting the climb to the top of Mt Ohlssen Bagge in the Wilpena National Park. We left Mum to rest at a few different places while we kept going. Mum made a nice bed for herself right next to a termite nest!

Mid winter break

This is the view from Arkaba Station cottage of the Elder Ranges. The colours changed constantly.
